Changing Harley Davidson Handlebars
You possess the Harley that best suits you as a person. Now as you look at it seated there in your garage area, a thought of enhancing your motorbike strikes you. For many owners, one of the first and easiest customizations is changing the Harley Davidson Handlebars. With the proper tools, this is a straightforward do-it-yourself project.
This is such a simple to average task. All you will need to have are screwdriver, torx or alien wrench, shop towels, needle-nose pliers, string and ruler or tape measure.
The first thing to do is to place your motorcycle to a level surface. With the motorcycle off, position the transmission in gear to stop movements. This is the knobby pattern just outside of your brake or clutch handle housing. For newer models, you will probably need a Torx wrench . For older designs, you need an Allen wrench or screwdriver. And then, making use of the wrench identified in step 2, take out the bolts from the left-side (clutch) housing which wraps around the grip. Split the two halves of the casing. After that, remove the bolts from the right side (brake) housing, again making use of the wrench identified in the previous. These are the throttle wires. Then, using needle-nose pliers unseat them from the handgrip sleeve. Cover the housing with shop towels. Next to last is to slide the grips off the Harley Davidson Handlebars. Depending on the Harley Handlebars, you may have to unscrew the left handgrip, but on stock versions these usually slide off with a gentle back-and-forth action. As soon as the grip is off, wrap the string around your handlebars and make use of a ruler to find the diameter of your handlebars. Stock Harley Davidson Handlebars are usually one inch, yet may be as large as two inches when you have aftermarket Harley Davidson Handlebars.
Slide the right grip on. Then change the housing and reinstall the bolts.
Motorbike handlebars transfer vibration created by the motor into the rider's hands and wrists. Although most motorcyclists chalk up this phenomenon as part of the experience, Harley-Davidson riders know much better. Some hand grips are dressed in black, some drip chrome, yet in the end, they keep your wrists and hands pain-free. Equally painless is the installation process, that requires a few tools and some free time.

Is there a way to use a torx wrench to replace the sata plug on a Seagate hard drive with a ribbon cable plug?
You know the thing on the back of a Seagate hard drive that screws in with torx screws and has the SATA plug on it? Is there a thing with a ribbon cable plug on it that I can torx-screw onto my hard drive instead? I tried a SATA-to-PATA adapter and it didn't work, so I want to know if I can make the connection happen more directly.
You will most likely just damage the drive once you open it and do the hardware modification. Just buy an IDE HDD. Convert that SATA HDD to an external drive by putting it in an enclosure with USB connector.
