Selecting & Installing Shower System?
I am looking to buy & install a shower system (likely Hansgrohe, Grohe or AquaBrass). The system I would prefer would include a rain shower, handheld, 4 jets & a tub filler. AquaBrass has a preconfigured system, with all these. The issue/concern I have is that the water feed is 1/2" copper, but the set requires 3/4" - (3/4" Thermostatic Valve with 5 way diverter). can I feed the valve with 1/2", using a reducer or will there not be enough pressure to drive the system? I would anticipate ony running the shower & jets at the same time, the other would work individually.
also, any opinions or experience with the 3 brands mentioned?

I have installed the Grohe system.You will need a 3/4 feed on the hot water side and a very large hot water tank.A forty gallon tank will give you hot water for about 12 minutes.We had to install dual tanks-twin 50 s for plenty of hot water.
