Is a 20 gauge Elkay Stainless Steel 33" x 22" single bowl topmount sink a good choice?
I am going to have new quartz counter tops installed in my kitchen, and I purchased this sink for my kitchen. I also have a In-Sinkerator garbage disposal that I plan to place under the sink. Have you had any experience with these sinks? I bought the sink at Lowe's. Also, is 20 gauge a good gauge? It is not the lowest or highest gauge.

Elkay sinks are good but I feel that Elkay has introduced too many cheap models into the market. For a dependable sink you want low gauge, insulation, and sound dampening.
20 Gauge is a pretty thin steel. You really want at least 18 gauge or preferably 16 gauge stainless steel. A 16 gauge sink is almost twice as thick as a cheap 20 gauge sink.
